MONASTERY OF THE CROSS JERUSALEM

This Medieval Monastery is one of the best preserved in Israel and one of just a few where ancient frescos have preserved.

Here, by the ancient legend, a mysterious tree, having three different trunks, was grown by Lot,Abraham' nephew. That was the very tree which would be used by Pilatus to build Jesus' Cross.
