Visit the most exciting Biblical places along the Armageddon Valley. Start the day at your Tel Aviv hotel and drive to the town of Megiddo, the jewel in the crown of the world of biblical archaeology. Stroll around King Solomon's Citadel, City Gates, the Canaanite Temple altar and finally descend to the ancient water supply system, dating 9-8 centuries BC, and still tremendously impressive. Continue driving through the tremendously beautiful Emek Jezreel, with its small ponds, running brooks and endless green fields. Drive along the scenic Gilboa Mountain range with Bible in hand, we'll witness the Biblical stories of David and Saul unfolding before our eyes. Stop to see Tel Jezreel, a site of the former capital of the Northern Kingdom. Here’ by the bible tradition was a palace of the King Ahab and his wife, Queen Jezebel. Make a short stop at Ma‘ayan Harod National Park. Ma‘ayan Harod, the Harod Spring, emerges here from a mysterious rocky cave. At the foot of Mount Gilboa, this is the biblical site where the judge Gideon chose his soldiers to fight the Midianites. Above the spring is the Hankin Museum, with a sweeping view of the Jezreel Valley. It was once the home of Jehoshua Hankin, who purchased land in the valley in the early days of the Zionist enterprise. Hankin and his wife Olga are buried here. Finally, take a drive back to Tel Aviv. Price excludes relevant entrance fees
